ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDLINES


Interested individuals can submit an empirical paper/poster, a conceptual paper/poster, or a best practice contribution via the following Website:

Abstract submissions are accepted between March 15, 2011, and July 15, 2012.

Before submitting an abstract, please make sure that you have the following information readily available: 
  • Names, institutional affiliations, and valid email addresses for *all authors*
  • Postal address, telephone number, and fax number of the first author
  • Title of your contribution
  • Thematic area(s) addressed (QOL from the perspectives of tourists, QOL from the perspectives of residents)
  • Keywords (up to five)
  • Abstract according to the following requirements:

Empirical paper: A structured abstract of no more than three pages is required, encompassing information on each and every of the following headings:

    (a) Background, 
    (b) Objectives, 
    (c) Research question(s) and/or Hypothesis/es, 
    (d) Method, 
    (c) Results, 
    (d) Conclusions and Implications 
Conceptual or Best Practice Paper: A structured abstract of no more than two pages is required.
References should follow APA style: www.apastyle.org
