Chritoph Baumberger

Christoph Baumberger (* 1971; Dr.) is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Environmental Decisions of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, and a member of the Centre for Ethics of the University of Zurich. After training as a draughtsman specialising in structural engineering, he studied philosophy, linguistics and new German literature at the University of Zurich and the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich. In 2010 he attained his doctorate with his work Gebaute Zeichen. Eine Symboltheorie der Architektur. From 2001 to 2006 he was research assistant and from 2006 to 2008 research officer at the Philosophical Seminar of the University of Zurich. From 2003 to 2005 he taught at the Zurich University of Design; from 2005 to 2009 he taught at the University of Zurich as part of the Master of Advanced Studies in Applied Ethics.
