Abstract:
Graphic design is as old as civilization itself. Today, international commerce, communications, and travel continue to feed the need for graphic design. This book is about to explore the “Graphic Langues of the 40’ies”. But is it at all possible to recognize the visual language of a decade? This book tries to achieve the critical balance between formal analysis, personal motivation and historical context of visual communication it's a visual representation of graphic design as a field of knowledge.
