is Professor of Social Work in the Universities of York (England) and Aalborg (Denmark).
He initiated the European Conference for Social Work Research.
In his Keynote presentation he will speek about "Science and Social Work".
Idit Weiss-Gal
is Associate Professor at the Bob Shapell School of Social Work at Tel Aviv University in Israel. Her fields of research and teaching include policy practice, critical perspectives in social work, and social work as a profession.
In her Keynote presentation she will speek about "Policy Practice: Social Workers as Policy Actors".
Edward Mullen
is Willma and Albert Musher Professor Emeritus, Columbia University.
He is "Editor-in-Chief, Oxford University Press Bibliographies in Social Work"; Member of the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare.
In his Keynote presentation he will speek about "The Idea of Evidence in the Context of Evidence-Based Policy and Practice".
Walter Lorenz
is coordinator of BA social work at the Faculty of Education at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and rector of that same institution.
He has been involved in various research projects at both a European and national level concerning social work and in particular in the development of European professional courses.
In his Keynote presentation he will speek about "Private troubles into public issues - the role of accountable social work research".
