Sebastian Oschatz

Sebastian Oschatz (*, Dipl.-Inf.), media designer, co-founder and director of MESO Digital Interiors. Studied at the Offenbach College of Art & Design and in 1994 was awarded a Diploma in Computer Sciences from the Technical University, Darmstadt; founded MESO in 1997 and, in 1998, MESO Digital Interiors, a digital research laboratory that specialises in digital experience spaces, interactive installations and interfaces. In 2004 he was visiting professor for Interaction Design at the Offenbach College of Art & Design; in 2003 he was visiting professor at the University of Kassel. He teaches interface design and media systems design at numerous universities and colleges. He is a co-developer of the graphical programming language vvvv and was a member of the music groups Involving Systems (1995-2003) and Oval (1991-97).
